Solicitor Request for Rates Information

The Rates Team of the Upper Hutt City Council can provide rates information to solicitors who are acting on behalf of their client in respect to properties.  Please be aware that Upper Hutt City Council has 5 instalments of rates.  The instalment due dates are completely independent of the periods covered by each instalment.  We expect that you will have a legal undertaking to clear the current instalment at settlement and apportion the rates between the parties.

Please complete the solicitor request form to request rates information on properties in Upper Hutt City.  The rates office will review your request and respond within 3 working days.  If your settlement is happening sooner than 3 working days, please contact our office by email and mark the request "Urgent".
