Rates Property Search

The rates for the 2022/2023 rating year are now available through the Property Search. 

You can also view the indicative rates for 2023/2024.  As these rates are indicative only, they can change and will not be finalised until the councils pass the rates resolutions at the end of June.

Use our Rates Property Search tool to find out property information such as rates and valuations. You can search by:

  • valuation number
  • street number and street address, and/or
  • legal description.

Rates Property Search

The UHCC 2022/2023 rates were set by UHCC Council at an Extraordinary Council meeting on 29 June 2022 and the GWRC rates were set by the Greater Wellington Regional Council at a meeting on 30 June 2022.

Upper Hutt City Council uses Quotable Value New Zealand (QV) as their valuation service provider. QV performs a revaluation of the city every three years. The last valuation was done in July 2022.  Owners should receive a letter from QV with their new values in February 2023.
