Our projects and initiatives

Council undertakes many significant projects throughout the year. Some of these may be significant works, carried out under our Long Term Plan over many years. Some may be in response to the needs of our community or changing environment, and may be determined through our Annual Planning consultation or at other times of consultation.

From time to time, Council participates in projects done in collaboration with other Councils, regional initiatives, or central government initiatives. We may also work in partnership with private enterprise and educational institutes.
