Upper Hutt City Council elections were held on Saturday 12 October 2019.
Local elections within Upper Hutt include Mayor and Council, as well as Greater Wellington Regional Council, Hutt Mana Charitable Trust, Hutt Valley District Health Board and Remutaka Licensing Trust.
Elections for all local authorities in New Zealand are held every three years using the postal voting method with voting papers being delivered from 20 September 2019.
The elections will be conducted under the provisions of the Local Electoral Act 2001, the Local Electoral Regulations 2001 and the Local Government Act 2002.
