It's time to get vaccinated Upper Hutt, against COVID-19! We are currently in 31st place out of 66 cities in the country for being fully vaccinated.
16 October is ‘Super Saturday’ – a big, nationwide push for vaccination and the Whirinaki Whare Taonga Vaccination Centre will be open all day.

It has never been more urgent to get New Zealand vaccinated. Summer is just eight weeks away and we need everyone to book their first vaccine appointment now so they can get two doses and enjoy everything a classic Kiwi summer has to offer.

The more of us fully vaccinated, the more protection we will have against COVID-19, and the more freedom this gives us.

If you are part of the 20% of the people who have not yet had a vaccination, or you know someone who is, it is going to be super easy to get vaccinated on Super Saturday.

Here in Upper Hutt we’re supporting by offering discounted $2 coffees at Dough Bakery and H2O Xtream, plus there will be free pool passes and books from Upper Hutt i-SITE for those who get vaccinated at the Whirinaki Whare Taonga Vaccination Centre.

This is our shot for a classic Kiwi summer, so round your whānau and friends up and we'll see you there.
