Who’s representing you in council ? Every six years we look into how the community is represented; this is called a Representation review. This review is crucial to ensure that all communities in our city are represented fairly and effectively.

Wellington Water are replacing the bulk water supply pipe that runs underneath the northern end of Whitemans Road and the rail line at Silverstream Train Station through to Fergusson Drive. The Silverstream bulk water supply pipe renewal will replace an old section of the pipe which has already failed once, causing significant disruption - replacing this pipe will minimise the risk of future pipe failures.
Train services won’t be affected but around 30 spaces at the Metlink carpark off Fergusson Drive and eight spaces on Gard Street are unavailable, and will be until mid-September.
Traffic management won't be required until September. There will be some stop/go and one-lane traffic management, but no full closures.
We’re in touch with Wellington Water and will keep you updated as the project progresses.
