Rural Digital Connectivity Survey
Published on 22 August 2022
We want to better understand internet and phone services in rural Upper Hutt to advocate for improved services.
We know there are some rural areas of our community who don’t get the same level of digital access as in urban areas. These include areas such as Akātarawa, Moonshine Valley, Blue Mountains, Wallaceville, Whiteman’s Valley, Mangaroa, Maymorn, Kaitoke and Remutaka.
Through this short survey we seek your feedback on:
- The quality of internet and phone services available to your rural home
- Any barriers you face when improving your digital connectivity
Feedback from our community helps us get a good picture of the challenges faced, what really matters to you, and where improvements need to be prioritised.
