Regenerative Horticulture 101 course coming to Upper Hutt

Have you ever wanted to grow food the sustainable way? For the Love of Bees are passionate about teaching communities how to work with land to grow quality food for local people, and they’re bringing their Earthworkers: Regenerative Horticulture 101 course to Upper Hutt, from Monday 26 September – Friday 30 September, 8.30 am – 4.30 pm.
Since 2016 their vision has been to create self-sustaining urban farms in Aotearoa that can feed communities and whānau. You’ll learn how to:
- Use biology-first principles to grow food
- Use practices that support biodiversity and produce nutrient dense food
- Use practical tools and strategies for your own urban farm
Embracing permaculture and organic principles, For the Love of Bees believe that happy plants heal the planet, and that healthy soil equals a healthy ecosystem.
