Spring is just around the corner and our motorcycling community are getting ready to dust off their bikes and hit the roads again after the dark winter months.

To help them stay safe we’re promoting Motorcycle Awareness Month all through September. Did you know there’s a sudden spike in the amount of motorcycle crashes and related ACC claims at this time of year?

We want to see our motorcyclists stay safe on the roads, so we're teaming up with the Motorcycle Collective and their DIY mobile workshop every Thursday of this month between 5pm and 8pm. Join us at The Motorcycle Centre in Nicolaus St to find out how to ‘Get Ready for the Ride’ and take advantage of a free 10-point safety check by The Ace Motorcycle Centre. Each night will have a guest expert: Two Bald BikersRide Forever course providers, Rightway Driving Academy (Kapiti) Ltd, Serious crash investigator, BRONZ riders or ACC.  This is a great opportunity to check out the Motorcycle Collective’s mobile workshop, have a chat, snack, pick up some tips and tricks for working on your bike or win a prize.

This all starts this Thursday, 1 September.
