Maidstone Community Sports Hub update

Progress on the Maidstone Community Sports Hub is tracking well, with the foundations laid and the steel frame going up.

Jointly funded by Council and the Government’s Covid infrastructure recovery fund we’re on track to have the project completed by the end of 2023.

In terms of the set-up of the organisation that will run the new hub, the Trustees will be formally appointed in the non-public part of the Council meeting on 21 September. We’ll keep you updated on the next steps for the Trustees.
