Let’s kōrero is Upper Hutt City Council asking for your input on what you think we should be focusing on over the next ten years. Your feedback through Let’s kōrero and the conversations and events we had planned were intended to shape our priorities for the next Long Term Plan. Just as we began seeking feedback the landscape changed on us in the form of a pandemic and NZ moved to Alert Level 4.
We acknowledge that COVID-19 may have brought a change in priorities for you —especially around the subject of resilient communities and your outlook of the future. We’d still like your feedback and encourage you to say what is most important to you especially in light of COVID-19. In some ways it is more important now that you tell us what you think is important for the future of Upper Hutt. You don’t have to adhere solely to the questions asked, we’ll take all feedback into consideration (and have adjusted our online form to suit).
We know that during these uncertain times, it may be difficult to think about tomorrow let alone the next ten years. While we are continuing to support the community through the current situation, by taking the time now you can help shape the thinking towards our future.
You can have your say online on the Let's-kōrero page. Please note that we've extended the deadline to 30 April 2020.
