Our Council team is taking a break over the Christmas and New Year period but there will be necessary cover to keep the essentials going.

Recycling station and Silverstream landfill
Our recycling station is open 24/7 but there will be no servicing on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. The Silverstream Landfill is closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Visit our Waste and Recycling page for more information.

Rubbish collection

Our rubbish collection schedule continues as normal because Christmas and New Years fall on the Sunday.

If you use Waste Management services, check their website for more information.

If you have wheelie bins or recycle bins, please check the holiday opening hours with your provider.
