Our Council team is taking a break over the Christmas and New Year period but there will be necessary cover to keep the essentials going.

Recycling station and Silverstream landfill
Our recycling station is open 24/7 but the Silverstream Landfill is closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Visit our Waste and Recycling page for more information.

Rubbish collection
If you use Council rubbish bags or Waste Management services, the collections that would normally take place on Christmas Day and New Year's Day will take place the following Saturday. Click here for more information.
