Consultations for Natural Hazards and Silverstream Spur open now

We’re calling for written submissions from the Upper Hutt community on two plan changes:

  • Plan Change 47 – Natural Hazards
  • Plan Change 49 (Variation 1) – Silverstream Spur

A plan change is a change to our District Plan - the rules for land use and development.

Letters have been sent to everyone directly affected by the two proposed plan changes, but the consultations are open to all. We encourage you to make a submission.

Paper copies of the submission forms and the supporting information are available from Upper Hutt City Council (HAPAI Service Centre) and both Upper Hutt libraries.

We’re also planning public zoom sessions so you can talk to our Planning team about the proposals:

  • PC47 on 10 October from 6.30 pm – 8.00 pm
  • PC49 (Variation 1) on 17 October from 6.30 pm – 8.00 pm
