Council agreed this week to further extend the feedback period for Plan Change 50 until 13 September.

This is so our community has more time to engage with our Planners through a series of online Zoom events, replacing the in-person events that were scheduled, but cancelled due to lockdown.

As expected, there continues to be  high level of interest in the plan change so if you’d like to find out more or ask a question, please register for one of the Zoom sessions below by emailing pc50@uhcc.govt.nz.

  • Tuesday 7:00 - 8:00 PM
  • Thursday 12:00 - 1:00 PM

If you can’t make a session, a recording of our first Zoom session is available to watch at letskorero.upperhuttcity.com/pc50, or you can arrange a time to speak with one of our Planners one on one. Just email pc50@uhcc.govt.nz or call our Customer Service team on 04 527 2169.

To recap, we’re working through a review of the residential and rural chapters of our District Plan to see how we might be able to accommodate more growth. This image highlights some of the changes we’re proposing.
