Council’s new Community Arts Advisor role aims at supporting and networking local visual and performing artists, and cultural groups.
The role is designed to provide support and encouragement to people and organisations active in the arts and culture sector—empowering them to achieve their objectives and ensure that arts and culture in our community are supported to thrive.
As a new role we’re keen to hear from Upper Hutt based arts and culture organisations, practitioners, and groups to develop an Arts and Culture Directory. A comprehensive resource outlining what is happening in Upper Hutt and identifying gaps and needs.
