At 6am this morning we moved into Alert Level 2 for seven days, following the Prime Minister’s announcement last night.

Council services will be open to public during their standard operating hours, but there will be some restrictions to ensure we can operate safely. We’ll be asking you to:

  • Sanitise and sign in on arrival
  • Keep a distance of at least 2 metres

This applies to our Customer Service desk located within the Civic Centre (open from 8am Monday), all Upper Hutt libraries and H2O Xtream.

And remember to keep washing your hands, scan your NZ Covid Tracer App, sneeze into your elbow, wear a mask on public transport and if you’re sick, stay home.

We’ll continue to monitor the advice from the Ministry of Health and will update you if anything else changes.

In the meantime, keep an eye on the Facebook pages below for specific updates to:

Bike the Hutt

Upper Hutt Libraries

H2O Xtream Aquatic Centre
