COVID-19 21 March update

Council facilities closed
We are continuing to monitor and take advice from the Ministry of Health in regard to the ongoing COVID-19 situation.
Following today's briefing from the Prime Minister, Upper Hutt City Council is closing all public facilities effective Sunday 22 March.
The following facilities are affected by this closure:
- Upper Hutt City Libraries
- Upper Hutt Central Library
- Pinehaven Library
- H2O Xtream aquatic centre
- Expressions Whirinaki Arts and Entertainment Centre
(the entire venue is closed, the Upper Hutt i-SITE will continue to offer limited service via telephone).
Council offices at Upper Hutt Civic Centre are maintaining usual office hours.
