Our annual plans and reports
Every three years Upper Hutt City Council produces a Long Term Plan (LTP) setting out the projects, activities and services that we will invest in and develop over a ten year period. The Long Term Plan incorporates the Annual Plan for that year. In the intervening years, an Annual Plan is produced on its own.
Annual Plan 2023 – 2024
We adopted the Annual Plan 2023 – 2024(PDF, 4MB) on 28 June 2023, which takes effect from 1 July 2023. There are changes we've made to Year 3 of the Long Term Plan 2021 – 2031 due to the circumstances and challenges that Upper Hutt continues to face. We're maintaining levels of service but, in order to finance our operating costs, we'll need to use more reserves than we've done in the past. This year doesn't differ from the LTP Year 3 in a significant way, so there was no formal consultation.
The Annual Report is a document Council produces each year outlining our achievements and accountability to the community for decisions made throughout the year. As well as highlights from the past year, the report includes performance measures and financial information.
We adopted the Annual Report 2022 – 2023(PDF, 5MB) on 31 October 2023.
Our annual report demonstrates what we have delivered 2022 – 2023, how we tracked against our financial and performance targets.
For those readers wanting a quick overview, a summary of key information from the report is available in our Annual Report Summary 2022 – 2023.(PDF, 2MB)
A limited number of printed copies will be available from late November 2023 at Council reception and Upper Hutt Libraries.
