Council and committee meetings suspended
Council and committee meetings suspended – In response to COVID-19 on 24 March 2020 Upper Hutt City Council resolved to suspend all Council and committee meetings until further notice. The decision to suspend will be reviewed when New Zealand returns to a Level 2 (or below) alert status.

Parks remain open, however grounds and park ‘assets’ such as playgrounds, bench seats, drinking fountains, barbecues, and public toilets will not be maintained and are officially closed.

Easter rubbish collection
For those using Council rubbish bags and/or service provider Waste Management, the collection that would normally take place on Good Friday will take place the next day on Saturday.
For those using an alternative refuse collection provider, contact your refuse provider for information about their public holiday collection service.
