Comedy of Errors

7.30pm start (doors open at 7pm)
Location:
Muritai School Yard stage (indoors in the Hall if wet), Muritai School, Eastbourne
Cost:
Adults $15, Students and SuperGold cardholders $12, Children $10
Description:
'Comedy of Errors' is a Bard in the Yard production by the Butterfly Creek Theatre Troupe - a fast paced, laugh out loud comedy about identical twins and mistaken identity.
One of Shakespeare's earliest plays, the Comedy of Errors is bawdy, quick witted and hilarious. This production is set in Brisbane and features musical items, loads of local talent and a bit of light hearted trans-Tasman rivalry - to add to the comedic chaos of the play. The plot has moments of sincerity but on the whole it is a delightful romp through the realms of farce.
The play is staged outdoors so you may want to bring a cushion and blanket to wrap up in as the sun goes down. Tea, coffee and a selection of wines are available at interval from the cash bar. The performance is open to audiences of all ages.
Online bookings at: www.bctt.org.nz , Phone bookings at: 083277790 or Purchase tickets at Rona Gallery, Eastbourne.
