Welcome to our new Stay in Sport! webpage - aimed to increase sport and recreation participation by Upper Hutt secondary school students and school leavers; and intermediate school children to secondary school.
This website has been created to help you, the students, source information about the sports you want to play, whenever you need to find it. It has been split into three sections depending on whether you intend to stay in Upper Hutt, Wellington or move further afield.
There is also an update section for other project initiatives that are happening that you will see out and about in the Upper Hutt community.

The Advisory Group
The establishment of a youth voice to advise and capture the best ways to motivate and encourage young people to participate and get involved was one of the key outputs of this project. Meeting one has been held in August 2010 and meeting two will be held in January 2011.
