Public Notification of Summary of Submissions Plan Change No.25 to the Upper Hutt City Council District Plan (2004)
The Upper Hutt City Council gives NOTICE as required by clause 7 of the First Schedule of the Resource Management Act 1991, of the availability of a summary of decisions requested by persons making submissions on Plan Change No. 25 to the Upper Hutt City Council District Plan 2004.

Intent of Proposed Plan Change No.25
Proposed Plan Change 25 reviews all of the activities in the District Plan provided for as either a controlled or limited discretionary activity, to ensure that Council maintains suitable control or discretion over these activities. It proposes a range of amendments to the District Plan in terms of its operability, as well as addressing gaps, errors or other omissions in the District Plan.

Use the following links to view a summary of the received submissions and copies of the received submissions or you can obtain copies from any of Council offices listed below:
Any person can make a further submission in support of or opposition to anytone or more of the previously received submissions. Further submissions should be made in writing and be in the prescribed form (or to the like effect) Pre-printed further submission forms are available for this purpose and can be obtained from any of the above locations.

The closing date for receipt of submissions is 5pm on Friday 3 October 2008.

Process after further submissions close
The Council intends to conduct a Hearing to give those who made a submission or a further submission the opportunity to attend and speak to the Council in support of their submission. Notice of the dates and times of such a Hearing will be given to all submitters in due course. Any person who has made a submission has the right to appeal Council's decision on the proposal to the Environment Court.
