Temporary Road Closure For Targa Rally - Saturday 1 November 2008
The following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic on Saturday 1 November 2008 for the purpose of the Dunlop Targa Rally.
Stage 25 Upper Hutt
- Wallaceville Hill Road. Starting from its intersection with Lane Street, to its intersection with Mangaroa Valley and Whitemans Valley Roads.
- Mangaroa Valley Road. From the intersection with Wallaceville and Whitemans Valley Road, to the intersection with Flux and Colletts Road.
- Flux Road. From the intersection with Mangaroa and Colletts Road to its intersection with Mangaroa Hill and Parkes Line Road.
- Mangaroa Hill Road. From its intersection with Flux Road to finish at its intersection with Hillside Drive.
- Time of closure 8.00 am to 12.00 noon.
Stage 29 Akatarawa
- Akatarawa Road, starting 100 mtrs before house number 1458 (Upper Hutt end of Akatarawa Road), to finish at Ratadale Road (6.5km before State Highway 1). Includes intersection(s) with Waiotauru Road.
- Staglands Wildlife Reserve will be open from 12.30pm
- Time of closure 8.30 am to 12.30pm
Stage 32 & 33 Moonshine
- Moonshine Road. Starting from its intersection with State Highway 58, (600 mtrs up, at House number 1188), to where it becomes Moonshine Hill Road.
- Includes intersection(s) with Ahoroa Road (No Exit).
- Moonshine Hill Road, from Moonshine Road, to finish at its intersection with Kirton Drive.
- Includes intersection(s) with Bulls Run Road (no Exit), and Moonridge Road (No Exit).
- Time of closure 12 noon to 5.30pm.
