| Vibe runs a service called Youth Transition Services (YTS). YTS is a
service in Lower Hutt and Upper Hutt that is available to all 15-19
years olds who are no longer at school or are planning to leave school.

| Career Services is the government agency that provides information and
advice to all New Zealanders about jobs, courses, training and career
planning. Career Services can be phoned on 0800 222 733. |

| Careers NZ has launched a new online self-help tool, “Know Your Skills”, which helps all people - but particularly young people looking to enter the workforce for the first time - identify the skills they pick up in their daily lives, and suggests ways they can use these skills to find work. |

Work and Income offer a range of assistance to support you when you
need it, from looking for work, support while studying or support while

| Volunteering for an organisation is a great way to gain more skills, as well as trying out things that may or may not interest you. You could approach businesses and offer your time volunteering, or you could pick up a regular voluntary role with a community organisation. Visit www.volunteerwellington.org.nz for more information and listings of volunteer roles. |
