| About Ash: | Ashooja has just moved down from Auckland to Upper Hutt in January 2010 to work with Upper Hutt City Council. Ash’s main focus in the Community Services Division is youth issues. It is Ashooja’s role to liaise with the community and youth organisations, create networks and advise or provide information about the issues for young people in Upper Hutt. If you are a youth worker or support person, contact Ashooja to become part of the Upper Hutt Youth Support Network. Working locally with youth first is exciting for Ash, who has just completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Politics from the University of Auckland. Ashooja likes to spend her spare time reading, volunteering, spending time with friends and listening to music. |
