Business Services

Upper Hutt City is situated in the Wellington Region.  It’s central placement in the region and the country, makes it an ideal location for businesses to operate from.  It is located specifically in the northern reaches of the Hutt Valley and is 33km (or approximately a 25 minutes drive) from the centre of Wellington City.

The city has access to good distribution channels, a large pool of employees and an extensive range of suppliers of goods & services.  It has a land area of 53,962 hectares and is well known for it’s attractive and spacious surroundings.

The Council places emphasis on the provision of city promotion, including the visitor industry and business liaison services for its City.  These activities are administered by the Business Services Division which works with the business sector to identify and support initiatives to foster economic growth and to promote the city, its events and attractions.
