Building Services
The Council has a statutory responsibility to administer the provisions of the Building Act 2004 and the Building Amendment Act 2005, within prescribed time limits.Responsibilities include processing applications for building consents, enforcing the provisions of the building code and regulations, and issuing project and land information memoranda, code compliance certificates and compliance schedules.
