ZM Womens Run Swim Series
The ZM
Women's Run Swim Series won the New Zealand Recreation Association
Outstanding Project Award at the 2005 Conference - so what is it?
The series was set up as a response to recent Sport and Recreation New Zealand (SPARC) research stating that women are less active than men. The goal of the event was simple; to get more Wellington women more active throughout the year. The series was also used as a mechanism for increasing attendance at Wellington's aquatic facilities and programmes.
So, get fit and stay active this summer with nine events at different pools in three great cities! the ZM Run Swim Series is a number of fun events for women only involving run ans swim - open to anyone aged 13 years and over.
The series consists of nice events, one in each of seven Wellington pools as well as one Upper Hutt and another in Lower Hutt. It's fun and achievable!
