Upper Hutt Sports Awards - Nominations Close Sunday 26 March (Actual event 9 May)
| Description: |
Nominations for the "2010 Upper Hutt City Sportsperson of the Year Awards" are now open. This event is organised by the Rimutaka Lions Club to help celebrate sport in Upper Hutt. Nominations close on Friday 26 March 2010 and the Awards event will be held at the Upper Hutt Cosmopolitan Club on Sunday 9 May 2010. There are 12 categories for which nominations are being sought, and a significant change this year is in the "Emerging Sportsperson of the Year" where nominees are required to be under 23 but are no longer required to have left school. Download a Nomination Form here >> Nomination Forms can also be obtained from other venues around Upper Hutt, including Upper Hutt i-SITE Visitor Centre, Upper Hutt Cosmopolitan Club, Upper Hutt City Council, Upper Hutt City Library, H2O Xtream, Expressions Arts and Entertainment Centre and Upper Hutt Leader office. |
