Silver Stream Railway
| Description: | Sunday Train Rides See the age of steam continue to be maintained and cared for. Train rides in restored carriages of the wartime era, hauled by vintage and veteran steam and diesel locomotives. Also displays of memorabilia and a shop. NZs largest collection of working steam locomotives. The railway line was rebuilt on the original 1875 route which followed the foothills around Silverstream. |
