Urban Growth Strategy

Process

The following outlines outlines the Urban Growth Strategy process.  The steps within the process are:

 Hearings

 If you have made a submission and indicated you wish to be
 heard, you can present your  views in person to Council.  The
 Council will consider and make decisions on all submissions
 received.

 Decisions

 If you have made a submission, the Council will inform you of
 their decisions on your submission.

 Amendments

 The Council will then amend the Urban Growth Strategy Working
 Paper to reflecth the Hearings decsions.

 Policy

 Council adoption of the Urban Growth Strategy.

 Implementation

 Implementation Programme prepared for all actions identified to
 give effect to the Urban Growth Strategy.
