Rural household collection
A rural collection of household refuse and recyclables is provided only from the following rural areas within the City Boundaries:Notes:

| Akatarawa |

| Akatarawa Road, north of Crest Road and Karapoti Road from just beyond the cemetery entrance. Collection day for council rubbish bags and recycling is on Fridays. Note: The existing collection point up from the cemetery will be closed from Wednesday 29 July 2009. |
