Do you know a young person who deserves recognition for their achievements? Someone who perseveres to help others or their environment? Perhaps a young individual in Upper Hutt who has shown strong leadership qualities? Or a dedication to promoting culture or a particular sport that benefits others within the community? If you know of someone who fits any of these descriptions, help them become an inspiration to other young people in Upper Hutt by nominating them for the Inspire: Young Achiever Awards 2010! A key annual event to celebrate the successes of our young people, Upper Hutt City Council is proudly hosting the Inspire: Young Achiever Awards in conjunction with Expressions Arts and Entertainment Centre and the Upper Hutt Leader. Nomination forms can be completed online or you can download and complete a pdf copy. Your completed nomination form can be returned by email to youth@uhcc.govt.nz, faxed to us (number below) or you can pop in and drop it off or post to: Ashooja Chandra Upper Hutt City Council Private Bag 907 Upper Hutt Fax: (04) 527-9818 If you are between 12 to 24 years old, you can even nominate yourself.
