2012 MAINTENANCE CLOSURE DATES	H²O Xtream will be closed from 5pm Monday 6 February to 6am Tuesday 13 March 2012. H²O XTREAM'S BEST YEAR EVER!	We are pleased to announce the H²O Xtream had another BEST YEAR EVER! 256,907 people came swimming at H²O Xtream between July 2010 - June 2011 (that doesn't even include spectators!) Last year we had 254,887! Thanks to all those that helped contribute to this great success!

DRILL SHEETS FOR CUSTOMERS	We have put together some easy to follow drill sheets for your use when you come here to swim in our 25m long lane pool. They are laminated, A4 size and can be found, on the blue post closest to our lane pool. They are categorised into levels to suit your ability and cover Freestyle and Backstroke. There is also a generic fitness schedule to work with your own strokes and some tips for swimming for fitness. Please make sure you return them to their holders for the use of other swimmers. We are interested in your feedback as to how useful you find these schedules and also any ideas you may have for further development of this free service. Please give your feed back to our customer services staff or use the suggestion box at Reception for your written ideas. Happy Swimming!

IMPORTANT: Saturday Night Pool Hours change	Over the past several months attendance on Saturday nights at H²O Xtream has been very low – usually under 10 people after 7pm. A survey of current users showed that most people only come occasionally and only 9% of people come more than twice a month on a Saturday night. In light of this, the decision has been made to close earlier on Saturday nights. From Saturday 7 May 2011 onwards, H²O Xtream will close to the public at 7pm.

SATURDAY MORNING CLOSURE	PLEASE NOTE: Leisure pool features and children’s play areas open at 11am on Saturdays. We are open 8am—11am on Saturdays ONLY for AQUAJOGGING, LANE SWIMMING & WAVEBREAKERS SWIMMING LESSONS.

NEW - SPORT ACCESS AWARD	H2O Xtream has been awarded GOLD for SportAccess from the Halberg Trust as part of the NZ Disability Strategy – this contributes to the ‘no exceptions’ strategy that the Hutt Valley Mayors signed up to. Halberg Trust SportAccess is a quality assurance mark to identify and enhance inclusive opportunities within sports, facilities and programmes and aims to enable more people with a disability the opportunity to be more active, more often. H2O is the first facility in the lower North Island region and is the 3rd pool in the whole country to be awarded GOLD. Being awarded GOLD shows that we are inclusive and proactive in regards to all members of the community with disability.

REGULAR CLOSURE	H²O Xtream is closed every Sunday night from 6.30pm for our Women Only Swim Night. From 7pm we will be open to women only, sorry not for toddlers or children.
