Rating Guide 2011/2012

This page provides the rating system and the rates approved by Council for the financial year from 1 July 2011 and ending 30 June 2012.

 

It sets out the different categories of rates and service charges and the purpose of each one.

Rates & Charges

The rates were struck by Council at an Extraordinary meeting held on Wednesday 22 June 2011.

Payment of Rates

Five instalments will be issued during this financial year, the due dates (and penalty dates) will be
as shown on the reverse side of your rates notice.

Payment can be made by cash or cheque, eftpos or automatic payment.  Automatic payments are
encouraged and cover automatic credits (weekly, fortnightly, monthly or quarterly) telephone
banking or direct debits.

 

Please check for further detail as per the reverse side of your rates notice.  Ratepayers already on
automatic payments should check that these are sufficient to cover the new rates.
