Notice of Election, Nomination of Candidates and Closing Date for Receipt of Nominations for the 2010 Elections

Under Section 52 of the Local Electoral Act 2001, I hereby give notice that on Saturday, 9 October 2010, the following elections will be held under the First Past the Post electoral system by postal vote:

Change to rate instalment dates for 2010/2011

Council has adopted a single cycle rates instalment arrangement for the 2010/2011 financial year and onwards. This replaces the previous two cycle arrangement.

The change has been made due to the high number of electronic payments now being received and applies to properties previously in the cycle two arrangement.

Leadership Day, the best school day ever is an outstanding success
