Are you new to New Zealand? Upper Hutt Settlement Support is here to
help you with local information about living and settling in New
Zealand. What is Settlement Support?Settlement Support New Zealand consists of a national network of 19 Settlement Support initiatives around New Zealand. Their job is to provide a local point of contact for newcomers – like you – to connect you with local agencies and referral services that can support you to settle quickly into your communities and workplaces. Upper Hutt Settlement Support is based at the Upper Hutt City Library.How can Settlement Support help you?It’s not always easy to find the information you need about employment, education, health services and many other aspects of living in New Zealand. Your Settlement Support Officer can provide easy access to information about settling in Upper Hutt. Examples of information you might find helpful include:
