Join Kev the Wandering Kiwi on his adventure as he explores some of the exciting recreation areas that the Hutt has to offer.
All walks start at 10.30am. You are welcome to bring picnics and supplies to enjoy in the park following your walk. All walks are family friendly and take about 1 ½ hours return – so come on, get out and about, spend time with family and friends, explore your region, and best of all keep healthy and active. Afterwards enjoy a free coffee compliments of Caffe L’affare.
The programme is jointly managed by staff of Greater Wellington, Leisure Active (Hutt City Council) and Activation and Community Services (Upper Hutt City Council). This partnership was created from the beginning arising out of the initial Active Communities project in the Hutt Valley. In 2008 Sport Wellington became involved with two of the walks which are jointly promoted as part of the buggy walk programme.
