About Recreation Services

Upper Hutt City Council’s Recreation Services Department is managed by Alison Law and is part of the Business & Leisure Services business unit headed by Director, Chris Upton.

The functionality of the department covers the management of the H2O Xtream Aquatic Centre, all aspects of the Activation team and their activities, the administration of the Hapai Building, Community Signboards, Road Closures and some of the City’s great events!

The aim of this new website is to provide access to useful information about what the Recreation Services team does, provide timely information regarding events and have forms and information easily downloadable.
