Avanti Plus Lower Hutt Bike The Trail

Bring your friends and family and enjoy an easy flat scenic bike ride down the Hutt River Trail to Hikoikoi Reserve, Petone.  Try the 2 & 1/2 hour ride covering 25km from Harcourt Park in Upper Hutt, or the 1 hour 12 km ride starting from Eastern Hutt Road in Stokes Valley.

The ride will be followed by a picnic at Hikoikoi Reserve with live music, giveaways and fun for the whole family.  FREE return transport is available for you and your bike from 11am to 1pm.

• Bring along a well maintained bike, an approved cycle helmet, sunscreen, a water bottle and lots of enthusiasm!

The Big Coast
Saturday 14 & Sunday 15 March
Rimutaka Rail Trail and East Harbour Regional Park
$120 Adult, $60 child.

The Big Coast is an entry-level, non competitive and family friendly two day mountain bike ride through some of the Wellington Region's finest scenery.

Recall a bygone era on the Rimutaka Rail Trail then camp overnight next to Lake Wairarapa.  The second day is a spectacular journey round the South Coast to Eastbourne.
