Payments
There are a number of ways you can pay accounts owing to the Upper Hutt City Council. If you have any queries please contact the Finance Department on (04) 527-2169 or email us.Note:
Currently you can not make payments using Credit Cards.
Direct Debit
You can pay your Rates and/or Water Meter by Direct Debit.- Rates
Rates options are weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or by instalment on the due date. Email our Rates department for assistance at rates@uhcc.govt.nz

Water Meter options are on the 20th of each month following due date. Email our Finance department for assistance at askus@uhcc.govt.nz
In Person
You can come to the Council Civic Building, 838-842 Fergusson Drive, Upper Hutt. We're open Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pmPlease remember to bring your account with you. You can pay using:
- Cash
- Cheque
- EFTPOS
By Post
Mail a Cheque or NZ Post Money Order, payable to Upper Hutt City Council. Cheques to be crossed “Not Negotiable”. Post to:Upper Hutt City Council

The Council also operates a secure mail drop box. It is located outside the front entrance to the Civic Building, on Fergusson Drive. The drop box is emptied daily, during Office hours.
