Honouring our Local Young Achievers.

Upper Hutt City Council is on the search for local Young Achievers that show excellence in a specific area.

Whether it be sporting, cultural, academic, political or social, UHCC wants honour and recognise these young achievers in which those recognised will also receive a one-off grant of $500!

Things you should know about Youth Ambassadors:

• There is a one-off grant of $500 gifted to successful nominees to assist with expenses specific to their area of expertise.
• Young people 12-24 years are eligible to apply for the programme.
• Applications have closed for 2009. The next intake details will be available in mid 2010.
