Entries for the Hutt Valley Youth Survey 2010 have now closed. We will post findings from the survey on this website once the data has been analysed. For the first time, the 2010 Youth Survey was combined with Lower Hutt to get a Hutt Valley response on how young people in the Hutt Valley like to spend their time. The survey was for 12 to 24 year olds living, studying or working in the Hutt Valley. The survey asked questions on safety health, education, work and where young people like to spend their time. The information will be used to make cool stuff happen for young people in the Upper Hutt community. Previous youth surveys have lead to a number of youth events and gigs, the Future Dragons project, Youth Ambassadors and more. A massive thank you to everyone who took part this year! Good on you for geting your voice heard! |

| Upper Hutt Youth Survey 2008 - iPod Winner |
||
![]() |
Congratulations Alice! Alice from Heretaunga College became the proud new owner of an iPod after her name was pulled out for the Upper Hutt Youth Survey 2008 prize draw. Mayor Wayne Guppy met with Alice to give her the iPod and have a chat about life. A huge massive thanks to every single one of you that filled out this year’s Upper Hutt Youth Survey!!! You guys gave us an overwhelming response of over 1600 completed surveys, with 300 more people filling out the 2008 survey than last year. With the help of your survey results, we will be making positive changes for you as a young person in the Upper Hutt community. Because of the huge number of surveys received, the analysis of the survey and publishing of the report will take some months. We will keep you updated about the results on this website. You can take the following link to download and view the survey: If you would like to hand in a completed survey or would like more information, please email us or text us on (027) 217-1404.
