Kev the Wandering Kiwi Walks: • Tunnel Gully Recreation Area From SH2, turn onto Plateau Rd at the Te Marua Store (6km north of Upper Hutt). • Hutt River Trail, Poets Park. Heading north on SH2, turn left after Moonshine Bridge • Wainuiomata Recreation Area. Follow the main road through Wainuiomata and turn left at the roundabout into Moores Valley Road. Take the first turn right into Whitcher Grove and follow this to the Recreation Area. Enter the park from the end of Hine Road (turn left off the Coast Road). Wheelie Kev (bring bikes): Hutt River Trail, Avalon Park. Heading north on SH2, turn left after Moonshine Bridge. |
